Short Bio

Mark Tutton is an experienced residential building surveyor and architectural professional with a background in both construction and property inspection.

He has over 15 years of experience within the construction and insurance surveying sectors, assessing residential buildings and advising on defects, building condition and appropriate repair strategies.

Mark specialises in the inspection of traditional and period properties, particularly homes built between the 1930s and 1950s, as well as buildings that have been altered or extended over time.

His approach combines practical construction experience with formal academic training in architectural technology and building surveying. This allows defects to be assessed not only from a theoretical perspective but also with an understanding of how buildings are constructed, altered and repaired in practice.

Mark is a Member of the Residential Property Surveyors Association (MRPSA) and is currently progressing toward chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

All surveys are undertaken personally by Mark and reports are written clearly to help clients understand the condition of the property and make informed decisions before proceeding with a purchase.
